MO-SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our community. As part of the Respiratory Therapy department, you will join a team committed to evaluating and caring for patients with respiratory conditions, ensuring they receive the highest standard of therapeutic services in a safe and supportive environment.
This position serves as a vital calling within our healthcare system, focusing on the comprehensive evaluation and care of respiratory therapy patients. You will administer prescribed respiratory therapeutic services, assessing patients to develop tailored plans of care based on their specific diagnoses. Your role involves implementing and monitoring these care plans, performing advanced respiratory care modalities, and communicating patient conditions effectively to the medical team.
In this full-time, night shift capacity, you will work a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, including rotating weekends and holiday coverage. The role requires a constant state of alertness to respond to medical emergencies and rapid responses. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key educational role by informing patients and their families about health conditions and connecting them with community support groups. You will also assist with the care, calibration, and maintenance of respiratory equipment, ensuring all devices meet established cleaning and sterilization procedures.

External qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, subject to a two-year service commitment.
