At SSM Health, we believe that healthcare is more than a career—it is a calling. Our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality care to our communities, ensuring that every patient receives the support they need during their most vulnerable moments. As part of our Respiratory Therapy department at the SSM Health St. Anthony Healthplex, you will play a vital role in delivering critical care to patients requiring respiratory support.
This position offers a unique opportunity to serve as a Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a PRN (as-needed) team member, you will be the backbone of our night shift operations, working from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Your day will involve evaluating patients, developing personalized care plans, and administering prescribed respiratory therapies with precision and care. You will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, operating advanced respiratory equipment, and responding swiftly to medical emergencies and rapid response situations. Beyond clinical duties, you will also serve as an educator, guiding patients and their families through their health conditions and connecting them with community support resources. This role requires a constant state of alertness and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene for all equipment and supplies.
SSM Health values its exceptional employees and strives to offer a comprehensive benefits package tailored to diverse needs. We support your growth and well-being through initiatives such as paid parental leave for new parents, flexible payment options via DailyPay for instant access to earned wages, and upfront tuition coverage through the FlexPath Funded program.
