SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of pediatric patients. Our Respiratory Therapy team is committed to providing exceptional care, ensuring that every child receives the specialized support they need during their most vulnerable moments.
About the Role
This position is more than a career; it is a calling. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will serve as a vital member of our night shift team, providing evaluation and care for respiratory therapy patients. You will administer prescribed therapeutic services, assess patients to develop tailored plans of care, and implement advanced respiratory care modalities. Your role involves monitoring patient conditions, responding to medical emergencies and rapid responses, and educating patients and families about health conditions and community resources. You will also assist with the care, calibration, and maintenance of essential equipment, ensuring a safe and effective environment for our young patients.
Hiring Process
Qualified new applicants may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, subject to a two-year service commitment. Shift differentials are available for night and weekend work. Please review the required professional licenses and certifications for the State of Missouri before applying.
