The Resource Planning (RP) Business Administrator serves as a strategic partner to Finance, Engineering, IT, and Business Management teams. This role is critical for ensuring accurate labor tracking, reporting, and system optimization across engineering and IT organizations. By maintaining data integrity between Resource Planning systems and PentaSAP, the position supports program and budget visibility while delivering high-quality customer service and reporting to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
You will drive system improvements across North America, IAP, and global regions, collaborating with IT partners to simplify and enhance functionality for supervisors and users. Your work involves developing and maintaining RP programs, mapping them to PentaSAP, and monitoring WBS overrun reports. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to providing high-volume customer support, troubleshooting issues, and resolving DriveIT tickets. You will also deliver online and in-person support, participate in management meetings, and develop monthly reports for senior leadership to ensure financial accuracy through weekly reconciliations.
In this role, you will focus on improving Resource Planning accuracy with a goal of capturing 100% of actual labor hours. You will have the opportunity to streamline and optimize RP strategies and processes, while developing and delivering role-based training for RP users. Additionally, you will partner with Program Economic Managers (PEMs) to maintain visibility into labor hours assigned to active programs and develop reporting tools to support estimator scope of work and CVE development.
