The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Crescent Region (BGCCR) is dedicated to empowering young people to reach their full potential. As a vital part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America network, our mission is to provide safe, supportive environments where youth can thrive, learn, and grow. We serve diverse communities across the region, fostering an inclusive culture where diversity and pluralism are not just values but core operational principles.
The Resource Development Director serves as a strategic partner to the CEO and the senior leadership team, driving the financial sustainability of our member Clubs. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the organization's community support strategies. You will not only lead the fund development team but also provide professional expertise to member Clubs, helping them craft and implement annual resource development plans that meet their unique financial goals.
In this position, you will act as the face of BGCCR to both internal and external audiences, representing the organization's mission to potential donors, foundations, corporations, and government entities. Your day-to-day involves navigating the complex landscape of non-profit fundraising, from identifying new funding sources and managing grant-writing processes to cultivating relationships with past and current donors. You will work closely with public relations to enhance the Club's visibility and ensure that all fundraising efforts align with established ethical standards and best practices.
We believe that a strong team is built on collaboration, respect, and a shared commitment to our youth. The Resource Development Director is expected to actively champion the Boys & Girls Clubs' commitment to diversity, ensuring that all operations and communications reflect the highest standards of excellence. We value a team approach to management and encourage open communication and cooperation among staff, volunteers, and member Clubs. If you are passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of young people and thrive in a dynamic, mission-driven environment, we invite you to join us.
Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their experience in non-profit development and leadership.
