At BDO, our purpose of helping people thrive every day is at the heart of everything we do. As the first large accounting and advisory organization to implement an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), we are proud to share financially in our growth with our U.S. team. Our culture is centered around making meaningful connections, approaching interactions with curiosity, and being true to yourself, all while making a positive difference in the world.
We deliver exceptional experiences to middle market leaders by sharing insight-driven perspectives and helping companies take business as usual to better than usual. Through our global organization, BDO professionals provide assurance, tax, and advisory services for a diverse range of clients across the U.S. and in over 160 countries.
The Tax Manager, Core Tax Services serves as the primary client contact for complex tax issues, advising clients on the tax implications of their business objectives. In this role, you will evaluate and select alternative actions to lessen tax burden and compliance costs while identifying methods to ensure adherence to tax regulations.
You will apply your knowledge to understand potential tax issues, recognizing and communicating risks and changes in tax policy. Beyond technical execution, you will be involved in marketing, networking, and business development within your area of expertise, potentially providing written tax advice to clients. You will also supervise associates and senior associates, acting as a career advisor and trainer on current software tools.
BDO is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for our people, clients, and communities. We offer flexibility and opportunities for advancement, empowering team members to explore their full potential. As an ESOP company, we offer a unique opportunity to enhance financial well-being through beneficial ownership, with no employee contributions required. The annual allocation is fully funded by BDO, allowing employees to grow their wealth as shares vest and grow in value with the firm's success.
We celebrate ingenuity and innovation, focusing on resilience and sustainability to positively impact our people, clients, and communities. Our Total Rewards encompass much more than traditional benefits, reflecting our commitment to a supportive and rewarding work environment.
BDO is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets. We welcome diverse perspectives and strive to understand the experiences of our professionals and clients.
