The Guest Service Captain orchestrates the service experience for hotel guests, working alongside coworkers to ensure site service standards are met or exceeded. While not a manager, this role operates under the direction of the Account Manager with additional duties involving coordination, administration, and troubleshooting. When the manager is not on-site, the Captain provides guidance and handles critical issues, making judgment calls when expediency is the priority. For non-urgent matters, the Captain reports facts to the manager and seeks instruction on how to proceed. This position is designed for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment where maintaining composure under pressure and delivering "Aggressive Hospitality" are key to success.
