This position serves as the frontline for broadband installation and troubleshooting, ensuring voice, video, and data services are delivered seamlessly to our customers. You will function in an entry-level capacity that offers a clear path for growth, with an increasing degree of proficiency and decreasing onsite supervision as you master the role.
Your day will involve performing field assessments, completing necessary certifications, and adhering to strict safety and technical standards. You will be responsible for the entire customer journey regarding service installation and maintenance, from the initial drop assessment to the final network design. This includes troubleshooting issues from the tap to the customer's equipment, designing basic home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and MoCA technology, and providing advanced customer education on device placement and network optimization.
Success in this role requires sound judgment in problem-solving and a commitment to owning your decisions and actions. You will navigate digital tools for work order management and diagnostics while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Continued employment is contingent upon achieving required training, certifications, and safety requirements, ensuring you are fully equipped to handle the physical and technical demands of the job, including working at heights and in various weather conditions.
