This position is part of our Federal Solutions team. The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe. Parsons has been awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as the prime contractor. This $1.8 billion+ contract supports the FAA's Capital Investment Plan modernization efforts, including site selection, engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation, and testing. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA's nine regions, as well as the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, alongside several U.S. territories.
As an Engineering Technician on this team, you will join an average staff of 400-500 (peaking over 650) to support these critical national infrastructure projects. You will operate in an unpredictable, fast-paced environment, often working in all weather conditions. Your work involves assisting with site preparation, installing and testing complex electronics, fiber optics, and radio communication systems, and performing repairs on various electrical components and wiring. You will be part of a team that anticipates what's next to deliver the solutions our customers need now.
