Residential Driver

About the Role

The Residential Driver is the face of our waste removal services, dedicated to safely and efficiently collecting solid waste and recyclables for our community. This role is essential to maintaining clean neighborhoods and ensuring our customers receive reliable service. You will operate residential collection vehicles, managing routes that may include curbside and backdoor pickups, while transporting materials to post-collection facilities.

Your day involves more than just driving; it requires a professional demeanor as you interact with customers and the general public. You will be responsible for identifying prohibited items, managing assigned helpers if applicable, and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle cleanliness and route quality. Success in this position relies on your ability to operate complex hydraulic systems, perform daily safety inspections, and work collaboratively with supervisors to improve routing efficiencies.
