About the Role

The Residential Advisor serves as a vital partner to residents in independent living, fostering a positive and supportive environment while assisting with daily activities tailored to individual needs and goals. This role is essential for promoting resident growth through recovery-oriented counseling, utilizing active listening and motivational enhancement techniques to facilitate change.\n In this position, you will work closely with residents to develop skills in cooking, menu planning, grocery shopping, money management, cleaning, laundry, and personal hygiene. You will also coach residents in completing daily activities, linking them to community transportation resources or providing transportation as needed. The role requires maintaining medication logs, documenting resident progress, and conducting safety checks, including fire drills and emergency procedure instruction.

Work Schedule

This position operates on a rotating schedule, working every other Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
