The Resident Technician serves as a vital support system within Public Subsidized Housing Facilities, dedicated to providing compassionate personal care and essential services to residents. This role exists to ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of clients by assisting with daily living activities and monitoring their health status in a home-like environment.
In this part-time, onsite position, you will work directly under the Site Manager to deliver high-quality care. Your day involves partnering with residents to support activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation, while also assisting with mobility and medication management. Beyond direct care, you will maintain a safe and sanitary environment, document daily interactions, and collaborate with the care team during case conferences to ensure service plans are effectively executed.
Candidates must demonstrate competency in personal care services prior to providing patient care. The selection process includes verification of current CPR and Basic First Aid certifications, as well as a satisfactory pre-employment physical examination, including TB screening or chest X-ray as required by agency policies.
