Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleRespond to resident concerns and provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
  • check_circleIncome-qualify applicants, lease vacant units, and process recertifications
  • check_circleEnsure compliance with LIHTC, HCD, LAHD, Section 8, and Fair Housing requirements
  • check_circleCoordinate and follow up on maintenance requests and document incidents
  • check_circleCommunicate with Property Supervisor and assist with audits and compliance reviews
  • check_circleSupport cross-property operations and help train new Resident Managers
  • check_circleRespond to after-hours emergencies and reside onsite if required
  • check_circleCollect and post rent, manage adjustments, and process monthly rent accurately
  • check_circleMaintain rent journals, resident records, and prepare audit-ready documentation
  • check_circleConduct daily property walks, inspections, and maintain curb appeal
  • check_circleEnforce leases and community rules while supporting move-ins and move-outs

Requirements

  • verifiedHigh school diploma/GED required; some college preferred
  • verifiedMinimum of 2 years of onsite Resident Manager experience in affordable housing
  • verifiedLeasing experience required
  • verifiedValid California driver's license, insurance, and acceptable driving record required
  • verifiedLIHTC certification preferred
  • verifiedKnowledge of Fair Housing laws and California regulations
  • verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • verifiedExperience working with formerly unhoused or special needs populations preferred for supportive housing roles
