About the Role

As a Property Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, maintenance, occupancy, and financial performance of one or more multifamily communities. You will serve as the primary liaison between residents, staff, investors, and community stakeholders, ensuring a culture of safety, accountability, and customer service excellence.

In this position, you will guide the team in achieving market results that exceed submarket occupancy and rent growth performance. You will manage complex compliance requirements including RAD, LIHTC, HUD, and Fair Housing regulations while fostering an environment where staff and residents can thrive. From handling resident relations and conflict resolution to overseeing development and rehabilitation projects, your work ensures that every community operates with efficiency and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleOversee daily operations, maintenance, occupancy, and financial performance of multifamily communities
  • check_circleLead, develop, and supervise property management, administrative, and maintenance staff
  • check_circleDrive leasing, marketing, and resident retention strategies to maximize occupancy
  • check_circleEnsure compliance with RAD, LIHTC, HUD, investor, and Fair Housing requirements
  • check_circleManage budgets, rent collections, financial reporting, and operating expenses
  • check_circleHandle resident relations, conflict resolution, and legal matters including court appearances
  • check_circlePartner with internal departments, investors, and community stakeholders to advance mission goals
  • check_circleManage commercial tenancies and coordinate maintenance services with commercial tenants
  • check_circlePrepare and distribute notices regarding safety, emergencies, and regulatory compliance
  • check_circleMonitor tenant accounts, prevent fraud, and initiate eviction processes when necessary
  • check_circleRecruit, train, and mentor high-performing teams to achieve community performance goals
  • check_circleOversee new development, rehabilitation, and modernization projects for assigned properties

Requirements
