We are seeking a dedicated Resident Manager for our 175-unit Tax Credit affordable housing property located in the master-planned community of Cota Vera in Otay Ranch, Chula Vista, CA. This role is vital to maintaining the integrity of our affordable housing mission, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality service while we adhere to strict compliance standards.
As the Resident Manager, you will serve as the on-site leader, working closely with the Property Manager to ensure the community operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for the accurate recording of numerical data for accounting purposes, performing applicant income qualifications, and assisting with leasing, marketing, and affordable housing compliance.
In this position, you will act as the Property Manager's representative, assuming their duties and authority in their absence. Your day will involve reviewing the Yardi dashboard, managing vendor communications, and ensuring all rents and fees are collected and deposited timely. You will also lead the emergency response team, handle resident concerns, and coordinate resident activities to foster a harmonious living environment.
