About the Role

We are recruiting for a Resident Engineer in Lisle, IL, to join our team on this journey. In this role, you will serve as a key leader on highway, bridge, and transit infrastructure projects. You will plan and assign work for construction field office personnel, including staff, sub-consultants, and partners. Your day will involve reviewing project activities with client and contractor field supervision to resolve disputes, interpreting complex contract plans and specifications, and managing quality plans. You will lead construction meetings, monitor contractor progress against schedules, and proactively manage construction changes and claims. Additionally, you will mentor staff on Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) responsibilities and assist the Project Manager with stakeholder coordination, budget management, and maintaining client relationships.

Work Environment
