As an Emergency Medicine Core Faculty member at Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, CA, you will join an established Vituity site that has supported an ACGME-accredited 3-year EM residency program since 2013. This role is designed for a physician partner who is passionate about education and leadership.
In this position, you will serve as a vital link between clinical care and academic development. You will teach and advise residents and fellows, working closely with the Residency Program Director to deliver an engaging learning curriculum. Your day-to-day will involve mentoring residents on their career and educational goals, assessing their performance through competency-based evaluations, and participating in the Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) and Program Evaluation Committee (PEC).
Beyond education, you will help create an environment of inquiry and safety within the clinical setting. You will model professional behavior, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with ACGME standards and all other accrediting agencies. While maintaining your clinical activity, you will also engage in scholarly activities, including research and participation in national organizations, to drive the program forward.
