We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Core Faculty member to join the team at Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, California. In this role, you will be a pivotal part of an established ACGME-accredited 3-year EM residency program hosting 24 residents. You will work closely with the Residency Program Director to support and deliver an engaging learning curriculum, ensuring all program requirements are met in accordance with ACGME and other accrediting agencies.
Your day-to-day will involve teaching and advising residents and fellows, mentoring them regarding their career and educational goals, and assessing their performance through competency-based evaluations. You will actively participate in recruitment, serve on the Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) and Program Evaluation Committee (PEC), and model professional behavior within the multidisciplinary team. Beyond clinical duties, you will contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives while maintaining scholarly activity and remaining clinically active.
Saint Agnes Medical Center is a 436-bed facility with a 63-bed Emergency Department, handling an annual volume of 90,000 visits (approximately 250 patients per day). The site features TEE in the ED for critical resuscitation, sub-specialty backup (excluding neurosurgery), and Vituity scribe support. Recognized as a 2024 Best Regional Hospital Award recipient, the site has been an established Vituity location since 2013.
