Located within CMU's College of Engineering, the Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department is celebrated for its interdisciplinary approach to solving complex healthcare challenges. The BME Department is seeking a Research Associate to support critical research involving multi-modal data acquired from human subjects using non-invasive optical, electrical, and ultrasound instruments. This role is central to the research lifecycle, focusing on the recruitment of human subjects, assisting with data collection, and learning the operation of experimental instruments. A key component of the position is ensuring all data collection activities strictly adhere to Institutional Review Board (IRB) rules and regulations.
