Thrive Foods is a mission-driven team within Thrive Market dedicated to making healthy, ethical products accessible to all. Our goal is to innovate in the Food & Beverage sector by delivering natural and organic solutions that align with our core values of wellness and sustainability.
As a Research and Development Manager, you will lead the concept-to-launch development of our product portfolio. This role exists to bridge the gap between innovation and commercialization, ensuring that every new item meets rigorous standards for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while hitting our cost and sustainability targets.
You will be a hands-on leader in a collaborative, data-driven environment. Your day will involve partnering closely with Operations, Quality, and Marketing teams to scale recipes, run trials, and optimize processes. From designing plant trials and sensory evaluations to mentoring staff and fostering a culture of experimentation, you will guide the team in using data and consumer insights to drive product improvements and line extensions.
We value transparency and efficiency in our hiring journey. Candidates can expect a streamlined process designed to showcase both technical expertise and cultural fit. The typical path includes an initial conversation to discuss your background and interest, followed by a deeper dive into your technical approach and problem-solving skills. We conclude with a team fit session to ensure alignment with our mission and values before extending an offer.
At Thrive Foods, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We believe that different perspectives drive better innovation and that our team should reflect the communities we serve. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, identity, or experience, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive.
