The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and Magee Women's Hospital is seeking a board-eligible/certified reproductive endocrinologist. This role joins a busy clinical program focused on assisted reproduction and reproductive endocrinology, offering a dynamic environment where clinical excellence intersects with academic inquiry.
Our division collaborates regularly with the Magee Women's Research Institute (MWRI), one of the nation's top biomedical research institutions. The Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology (CFRE) is a robust unit integrating reproductive endocrinology, fertility preservation, reproductive urology, genetics, embryology, andrology, and endocrinology. Specialized centers within the division include the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Center and the Reproductive Late-Effects program, providing long-term care for patients after gonadotoxic therapy. Additionally, providers collaborate with the Center for Reproduction & Transplantation, focusing on clinical and translational research in gonadal tissue cryopreservation and transplantation.

This position is primarily clinical (approximately 80%) with dedicated time for teaching and research (20%). You will join a team of 7 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), participating in a call schedule split evenly among providers. The role involves managing time-sensitive testing and procedures, which may include some weekend coverage.
The REI Division is committed to training the next generation of specialists through a robust fellowship program. As a faculty member of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, you will have opportunities to contribute to the division's research on fertility and hormonal conditions affecting fertility, leveraging the platform of our clinical programs for education and discovery. Academic rank will be determined by your qualifications, experience, and achievements.
