The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UPMC/Magee Women's Hospital is seeking a board-eligible/certified reproductive endocrinologist. This role is designed for a physician with expertise in assisted reproduction who will join a busy clinical program, primarily focusing on patient care with integrated opportunities for research.
Our division collaborates regularly with the Magee Women's Research Institute (MWRI), one of the nation's top biomedical research institutions. The REI Division focuses on fertility and hormonal conditions affecting it, with this knowledge available to patients through various specialized clinics. The Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology (CFRE) is a robust unit incorporating reproductive endocrinology, fertility preservation, reproductive urology, genetics, embryology, andrology, and endocrinology. Additionally, the division houses the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Center and the Reproductive Late-Effects program for long-term care after gonadotoxic therapy.

You will join a team of 7 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in a dynamic environment where time is split approximately 80% clinical and 20% teaching and research. Call duties are split evenly among providers, with some weekend availability required for time-sensitive testing and procedures. The academic rank will be commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and achievements.
This position offers a platform for excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. Providers collaborate with the Center for Reproduction & Transplantation, focusing on fertility preservation through clinical and translational research in gonadal tissue cryopreservation and transplantation. The division is committed to training the next generation of REI specialists through a robust fellowship program, and all clinical programs serve as a foundation for education and discovery.
