The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UPMC/Magee Women's Hospital is a major academic unit dedicated to advancing fertility care and research. Our division collaborates regularly with the Magee Women's Research Institute (MWRI), one of the nation's top biomedical research institutions. The Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology (CFRE) serves as a robust hub integrating reproductive endocrinology, fertility preservation, reproductive urology, genetics, embryology, andrology, and endocrinology.
Within the division, we house specialized centers including the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Center and the Reproductive Late-Effects program for long-term care following gonadotoxic therapy. Providers also collaborate with the Center for Reproduction & Transplantation, focusing on clinical and translational research in gonadal tissue cryopreservation and transplantation. All clinical programs serve as a platform for research and education, with a strong commitment to training the next generation of REI specialists through our robust fellowship program.

We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified reproductive endocrinologist to join our busy clinical program. This role is designed for a physician with expertise in assisted reproduction and reproductive endocrinology who is eager to participate primarily in a clinical capacity while maintaining opportunities for research. The position offers a time split of approximately 80% clinical work and 20% teaching and research. Call duties are split evenly among providers, with some weekend availability required for time-sensitive testing and procedures.
Successful candidates will join a team of 7 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The role offers a faculty appointment at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine commensurate with qualifications, experience, and achievements. Academic rank is determined by individual accomplishments. The position requires an MD or equivalent degree and the ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania license.
