This role is designed for a clinician with expertise in assisted reproduction and reproductive endocrinology to join a busy clinical program.
Our division collaborates regularly with the Magee Women's Research Institute (MWRI), one of the nation's top biomedical research institutions. The REI Division focuses on fertility and hormonal conditions affecting fertility, with this knowledge and expertise available to patients through various clinics. The Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology (CFRE) is a robust unit incorporating reproductive endocrinology, fertility preservation, reproductive urology, genetics, embryology, andrology, and endocrinology. You will join a team of 7 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), with call responsibilities split evenly among providers. While the primary focus is clinical, there are significant opportunities for research through the University of Pittsburgh and the Center for Reproduction & Transplantation, which focuses on fertility preservation and translational research in gonadal tissue cryopreservation and transplantation.
The division is committed to training a new generation of REI specialists through a robust fellowship program. All REI clinical programs serve as a platform for research and education. Academic rank is dependent on qualifications, experience, and achievements. The role requires good clinical knowledge and technical skills, with an MD or equivalent and the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license. H1B visa sponsorship is available.
