Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Sigma Computing
- check_circlePartner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions
- check_circleDevelop and manage data models, calculated fields, and DAX measures to ensure accurate reporting
- check_circleConnect to and query data sources including SQL databases, Snowflake, and Databricks to build data pipelines
- check_circleDocument data definitions, report logic, and data lineage to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- check_circleCollaborate with the data engineering team to define data requirements and support data quality initiatives
- check_circleDeliver ad hoc analyses and reporting to support business decisions and regulatory obligations under HMDA, RESPA, and TILA
- check_circlePresent findings and data insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- check_circleMonitor and maintain existing reports, troubleshooting data discrepancies and performance issues proactively
Requirements
- verified3+ years reporting analyst, BI developer, or data analyst experience
- verifiedPower BI (Desktop, Service, Power Query, DAX) and/or Sigma Computing
- verifiedIntermediate to advanced SQL skills
- verifiedData modeling and dimensional design
- verifiedCloud data warehouse experience (Snowflake preferred)
Nice to Have
Experience in mortgage lending, financial services, or a federally regulated industry. Exposure to HMDA, RESPA, or CFPB reporting requirements. Experience working with data from loan origination systems (LOS) such as Encompass or similar platforms. Knowledge of data governance practices and metadata management. Experience in a contract-to-hire or consulting engagement within a regulated environment. Python or R for data manipulation and analysis. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM data sources. Familiarity with dbt or other data transformation tools. Version control (Git) for BI asset management.
