About the Opportunity
CACI is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support Shipyard personnel tasked with expediting the execution of maintenance availabilities and accelerating the on-time delivery of submarines. This role is critical to increasing Submarine Operational Availability by leveraging data analytics and dashboard development to improve processes, workflows, communications, collaboration, reporting, and supply chains.
The majority of work is performed on the customer site to ensure customer needs are met directly. You will partner with Shipyard personnel at all levels of the organization, providing subject matter expertise in shipbuilding or ship repair activities, including best practices and lessons learned, to drive improvements in naval maintenance and modernization activities.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign, develop, and update operational metrics and visualization dashboards to measure Shipyard performance
- check_circleExtract data from databases to build metrics, dashboards, and slide deck reports for stakeholders
- check_circleEstablish and track metrics to determine effectiveness and ensure accountability of stated goals
- check_circleFacilitate customer meetings, presentations, briefings, and strategic planning sessions
- check_circleProvide subject matter expertise in shipbuilding and ship repair to improve maintenance activities
- check_circleDevelop and execute communication strategies that include all customer stakeholders
- check_circleSupport the execution of contract requirements including submission of data and timely reports
- check_circleCollaborate with teams to identify process improvements that add value to Shipyard operations
Requirements
- verifiedUnited States Citizen
- verifiedDOD Secret security clearance
- verifiedBachelor's degree in relevant field OR 10 years directly applicable work experience
- verified5 years experience in shipbuilding, modernization, ship repair, commercial repair machine shop, or production shop
- verifiedExperience developing metrics and visualization dashboards using Excel or Power BI
- verifiedProficiency with Microsoft 365
Nice to Have
Active DOD Secret security clearance. Experience working with unions and leading teams of Shipyard skilled workers (e.g., First-Line Supervisor, Work Group Leader, Foreman, Zone Manager). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Certification in Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, Shingo, or Theory of Constraints. Experience using cloud-based knowledge management systems (SharePoint, iNFUSION Suite, Jira, etc.). Knowledge of Naval Shipyard data systems. Work experience with the Naval Maintenance Community, United States Navy, or the Department of Defense, including Carrier Planning Activity, SUBMEPP, SHAPEC, PMS312, PMS 392.
