Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign and develop scalable Power BI solutions including datasets, semantic models, and dashboards
- check_circleLead complex SQL query development to extract, transform, and analyze large structured datasets
- check_circleTranslate ambiguous business questions into defined analytical approaches, metrics, and success measures
- check_circleDeliver diagnostic and forward-looking insights including forecasting, scenario modeling, and capacity planning
- check_circleValidate and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- check_circlePresent clear, compelling data-driven narratives and recommendations to senior and executive leadership
- check_circleMentor junior analysts and upskill business teams through coaching, documentation, and knowledge sharing
- check_circlePartner with cross-functional stakeholders to align analytics with business outcomes and enterprise strategy
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in an analytical, technical, or quantitative discipline
- verified6+ years of progressive experience in data analytics
- verifiedAdvanced SQL expertise
- verifiedPower BI expert
- verifiedStrong experience with large structured datasets using SQL, Excel, and/or Python
- verifiedNot eligible for employment visa sponsorship
Nice to Have
Experience with Databricks or modern cloud-based data platforms. Experience with internal Genworth systems or background in the Insurance / Financial Services industry. Experience with TIBCO Spotfire, Business Objects, or similar BI tools. Experience working with Pega (Platform + Data). Master's degree in a related field. Advanced analytics or modeling experience using Python and/or R. Experience with data management, data quality, and SQL object creation (views, functions, reusable logic).
