Repair and Tool Technicians play a vital role in keeping our equipment fleet operational and safe for our customers. Whether stationed in a store's Tool Rental Center or at a dedicated repair facility, you are the expert behind the scenes ensuring that small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices are evaluated, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards.
In a store setting, your day involves direct customer interaction. You will manage the rental process by drafting contracts and invoices, while also providing hands-on demonstrations to ensure customers understand how to operate their equipment safely. Beyond rentals, you will troubleshoot and repair customer-owned tools, offering expert recommendations on maintenance and equipment needs.
At non-store repair centers, the focus shifts to deep-dive diagnostics and restoration. You will ensure every unit is thoroughly repaired, rigorously tested for quality, and cleaned before returning to the store where it originated. A core part of your mission is managing tool inventory effectively, maintaining a thorough knowledge of all tools, and performing necessary repairs to keep our fleet ready for use.
