About the Role
This Part-Time Rental Representative position offers an excellent entry-level opportunity to begin an exciting career with the nation's leading transportation company. You will be actively involved with the sales, administrative, service, and operations teams. The role focuses on handling inbound and outbound sales processes, generating new business leads, and maintaining existing customer relationships. You will manage and oversee a large fleet of vehicles, matching vehicle demand with availability while coordinating all aspects of customer accounts to ensure complete satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
This is a part-time position generally planned for 15-25 hours per week, with a schedule running from Friday through Monday. The role is based in Atlanta, GA, at the Fulton Industrial Blvd location.
Hiring Process
Candidates must accurately complete Penske's employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes checks of past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and designated as safety-sensitive. Successful candidates must maintain a current driver qualification file, including an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records from prior employers. CDL holders will also undergo a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of starting and are subject to an FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
