Faculty members at HCI are dedicated to delivering high-quality education services that prepare students for successful professional careers. This role goes beyond simple instruction; it involves engaging students, fostering a culture of learning, and role-modeling professional standards. Faculty serve as a vital link between the academic program and the professional nursing field, ensuring that graduates are competent and ready for the workforce.
You will work closely with the Associate Director of Nursing, the Director of Nursing, and fellow campus faculty to ensure the consistent, high-quality delivery of assigned courses. Whether in the classroom, the skills lab, or clinical settings, your goal is to direct and assess student progress across cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. You will also play an active role in program development, retention strategies, and maintaining the rigorous standards required by accrediting bodies like ACEN and the Florida Board of Nursing.
Candidates interested in joining our faculty team are encouraged to apply with a focus on their educational background, clinical experience, and commitment to nursing education. The selection process evaluates both technical expertise in nursing and the ability to effectively teach and mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals.
This is an onsite position based out of our West Palm Beach Main Campus or the Fort Lauderdale branch. The role requires face-to-face interaction with students in didactic, clinical, and lab environments. Faculty are expected to maintain regular and reliable attendance and adhere to specific workload expectations based on their classification (full-time or part-time).
At HCI, we uphold high ethical standards and are committed to diversity and inclusion. We comply with all governmental regulations and accreditation standards to ensure the highest quality of education. Reasonable accommodations are made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. We value a collaborative environment where faculty participate in committees, knowledge-sharing forums, and professional development to continuously improve the student experience.
