The Part-time Development & Finance Administrative Assistant serves as a vital operational bridge between the Fund Development and Finance departments at Girl Scouts of Connecticut. This role is designed to ensure the seamless flow of critical data, financial tracking, and donor stewardship activities that sustain our mission. By managing the intersection of fundraising initiatives and financial integrity, you will directly support the organization's ability to secure resources and maintain strong community relationships.
In this position, you will act as the primary Gift Entry Administrator for the Raiser's Edge donor database, ensuring data accuracy while assisting with prospect research, grant applications, and tax acknowledgment communications. Your work will enable the teams to focus on strategic growth and program delivery by handling the essential administrative and analytical tasks that keep the organization running smoothly.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Finance, English, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience within a nonprofit, fundraising, finance, or development environment. Experience or familiarity with grant writing, grant research, donor relations, gift entry, donor database management, or financial reporting. Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT, Financial Edge NXT, or similar CRM/database systems.
