About the Role
The CAD Operator III, Electrical serves as a critical bridge between initial concepts and finalized engineering documentation. In this role, you will transform rough product designs, sketches, and verbal instructions from Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers into precise system, equipment, and installation drawings. You will operate within the Design Department, reporting administratively to the Vice President of Engineering, to ensure all deliverables align with company production and design standards.
This position is designed for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on technical accuracy. You will manage complex electrical layouts, including P&ID's, single-line diagrams, instrument loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and power plans. Your work involves not only creating new designs but also revising existing drawings, generating as-built documentation, and assembling construction drawing packages. As a key member of the design team, you will collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to maintain schedules and ensure the integrity of electrical distribution equipment documentation.
Work Environment & Location

Employees located near the office will work on a hybrid schedule, while those outside these areas will work remotely. The role requires a flexible schedule to respond to project assignments and may involve travel as required to meet project goals.

Requirements
