About the Role

The Relationship Banking Assistant serves as a vital partner to our commercial banking teams in Tacoma, WA. This role is designed to deliver an exceptional customer service experience to both new and existing clients, ensuring a seamless onboarding process for all products, services, and treasury management solutions. You will be the face of the bank for many customers, opening new accounts with strict adherence to regulatory requirements while actively recommending solutions that benefit the client.

In this position, you will balance routine operational duties with relationship-building activities. Your day will involve processing transactions, identifying potential fraud, and performing "Know Your Customer" due diligence. Beyond operations, you will support commercial partners in sales and relationship expansion, participate in marketing promotions, and engage in community activities to promote the Bank's image. Success in this role requires a blend of operational precision, sales acumen, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and integrity.

Requirements

verifiedH.S. Diploma or equivalent
verifiedAssociate's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Finance or relevant discipline preferred
verifiedLevel I: 1+ year recent experience in commercial and/or retail branch banking
verifiedLevel II: 2+ years recent experience in commercial and/or retail branch banking
verifiedProficient use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
verifiedValid driver's license, proof of insurance, and access to reliable transportation
verifiedNMLS registration under the terms of the SAFE Act of 2008 (contingent upon employment)
