As a key point of contact for our Neuropsychology Services department, you will serve as the welcoming face of our practice, ensuring patients and their families feel supported from their first interaction. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of our patient intake process, bridging the gap between administrative efficiency and compassionate care.
In this position, you will manage the full spectrum of patient registration activities, whether greeting individuals in person or assisting them over the telephone. Your day involves gathering essential demographic, financial, and medical information to facilitate smooth scheduling and pre-registration. You will act as a liaison between patients, families, and clinical departments, verifying insurance coverage, obtaining necessary authorizations, and collecting payments to ensure financial clarity before treatment begins.
Beyond administrative duties, you will uphold the highest standards of patient care by verifying legal guardianship for minors, collecting necessary consents, and ensuring all documentation is accurately scanned and entered into our systems. You will also be responsible for tracking patient arrivals and confirming appointments, playing a crucial role in the operational flow of the office.
Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted directly by the hiring team to discuss qualifications and schedule a conversation. Please ensure your application includes all relevant experience in customer service and healthcare settings.
We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all patients and staff. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background and strive to serve our diverse community with respect and dignity.
