About the Role

The Registered Nurse Trauma Spine is a vital clinical resource within our Healthcare & Medical Services department, providing comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role exists to support the complex needs of trauma and spine patients throughout their continuum of care, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery and discharge planning.

In this position, you will serve as a key advocate for patients and families, offering clear education on diagnoses, surgical procedures, and rehabilitation expectations. You will work alongside experienced clinicians who value open communication and shared problem-solving, collaborating with physicians, surgeons, therapists, and support staff to coordinate multidisciplinary care. The role requires strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making to manage patients with complex medical and surgical conditions, ensuring evidence-based protocols are followed and patient safety remains the top priority.
