Purpose & Scope
Across all levels, the registered professional nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of assigned patients, alongside the supervision of assigned personnel. This role demands a deep knowledge of department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to nursing care delivery.
The position requires strong interpretive skills, frequent interactive and consultative associations, and management capabilities. Effective communication is essential, with the primary method of exchanging ideas being spoken word. Additionally, the role necessitates the ability to retrieve and present information in written, auditory, or visual formats, along with proficient written, telephone, and manual dexterity skills.
