Lutheran Hospital has served the Wheat Ridge and surrounding communities for over 100 years. Evolving from a tuberculosis sanitarium into a top-tier facility, we opened a brand-new hospital in 2024 to provide greater access to life-saving emergency services. As part of Intermountain Health, a faith-based nonprofit organization, we are proud to be a Magnet-designated hospital recognized for nursing excellence.
Our Operating Room features 9 surgical suites, including a heart room and cystoscopy room, with specialties ranging from Orthopedics and Cardiac to Neuro and Plastics. We are a proud Heart and Neurovascular Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Level II Trauma Center. We are currently building a new Neurosurgery department and seeking the first leaders to join our creative, hardworking, and close-knit team of neurosurgeons and OR professionals.
As a Neurosurgery Operating Room Registered Nurse Program Coordinator, you will bring your body, mind, heart, and spirit to your work. You will be one of the first leaders in this new department, responsible for supervising hospital activities and coordinating between patient care areas to ensure safe, appropriate care during your shift.
Your day involves serving as a role model, mentor, and clinical resource for the team. You will supervise daily staffing and productivity, oversee personnel training, and partner with physician leaders to create a culture of commitment to patient-focused service. While you will perform RN duties as needed, your primary focus is on leading the team, resolving unit issues, and implementing methods to improve financial outcomes and patient care. You will thrive in a high-pressure environment where you stay organized, move fast, and respond calmly.
Lutheran Hospital is conveniently located near I-70 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, minutes away from wonderful parks, open spaces, and trails for year-round outdoor recreation like biking, hiking, and boating. Our culture is built on aligning mission and careers, honoring dignity, and encouraging joy. We celebrate milestones, acknowledge the value of spirituality in healing, and believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible.
