About the Team

Lutheran Hospital has served the Wheat Ridge and surrounding communities for over 100 years. Evolving from humble beginnings as a tuberculosis sanitarium, it is now one of the country's top hospitals, holding Magnet designation for nursing excellence from the ANCC. In 2024, Lutheran opened a brand-new facility to provide greater access to life-saving emergency services. As part of Intermountain Health, a faith-based nonprofit, we are proud to be a Heart and Neurovascular Center, an accredited Chest Pain Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and a Level II Trauma Center.

Our Operating Room features 9 surgical suites, including a heart room and a cystoscopy room, with specialties ranging from OB-GYN and Orthopedics to Neuro, ENT, and Plastics. We are home to DaVinci robotics and are currently launching a new Neurosurgery department. This is a unique opportunity to be one of the first leaders on a creative, hardworking, close-knit team of neurosurgeons and OR professionals.

About the Role

As a Neurosurgery Operating Room Registered Nurse Program Coordinator, you will bring your body, mind, heart, and spirit to your work. You will supervise, lead, and coordinate the activities of personnel to ensure excellent, patient-focused care. This role exists to bridge the gap between patient care areas and other departments, ensuring the delivery of safe and appropriate care for every shift.

You will serve as a role model, mentor, and clinical resource for your team. Your day will involve managing daily staffing and productivity, resolving unit issues, and participating in performance improvement activities. You will partner with physician leaders to create a culture of commitment to patient service, innovation, and integrity. While you will perform RN responsibilities as needed, your primary focus is on overseeing training, developing policies, and managing associate performance to foster a supportive environment where individuals become part of something greater.

Our Culture

We believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible. Together, we align mission and careers, honoring each other's dignity and surpassing the standards we set. We encourage joy, demand safety, and take pride in our integrity. We celebrate milestones and acknowledge the value of spirituality in healing. We are proud of what we know, which includes how much there is to learn, and we laugh at each other's jokes. Our mission extends to providing comprehensive, specialty care to the poor, the vulnerable, our communities, and each other.

Location & Lifestyle

Lutheran Hospital is conveniently located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, just minutes from I-70 and surrounded by wonderful parks, open spaces, and trails. Enjoy free, year-round outdoor recreation opportunities including biking, bird-viewing, boating, fishing, and hiking. This location offers a perfect balance for enjoying your days off while working in a state-of-the-art facility.

Your Next Move

We hire people, not resumes, but we expect excellence. If you are ready to reaffirm every day why you were called to this work, we hope you will join us. At Intermountain Health, we use the AI platform HiredScore to help match your skills to the best jobs for you, though all final decisions are made by our personnel to ensure fairness. Your information is safe and used only for recruitment.

Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
