About the Team

Lutheran Hospital has served the Wheat Ridge and surrounding communities for over 100 years. Evolving from humble beginnings as a tuberculosis sanitarium, it is now one of the country's top hospitals, holding Magnet designation for nursing excellence from the ANCC. In 2024, Lutheran opened a brand-new facility to provide greater access to life-saving emergency services. As part of Intermountain Health, a faith-based nonprofit organization, we are proud to be a Heart and Neurovascular Center, an accredited Chest Pain Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and a Level II Trauma Center.

Our Operating Room features 9 surgical suites, including a heart room and a cystoscopy room, with specialties ranging from OB-GYN and Orthopedics to Neuro, ENT, and Urology. We also utilize DaVinci robotics on-site. We are currently building a new Neurosurgery department and seeking the first leaders to join our creative, hardworking, and close-knit team of neurosurgeons and OR professionals.

About the Role

As a Neurosurgery Operating Room Registered Nurse Program Coordinator, you will bring your body, mind, heart, and spirit to your work. You will be responsible for supervising hospital activities and coordinating between patient care areas and other departments to ensure the delivery of safe, appropriate patient care during your shift. This role is designed for someone who knows how to stay organized, move fast, and respond calmly in high-pressure situations.

You will serve as a role model, mentor, and clinical resource for the assigned area. Your day will involve leading and coordinating personnel, managing daily staffing and productivity, and supporting associates in resolving patient and unit issues. You will participate in performance improvement activities, new initiatives, and the interviewing and selection of personnel. Additionally, you will oversee training to ensure compliance with all policies, laws, and accreditation standards, while partnering with physician leaders to create a culture of commitment to patient-focused service and integrity.

Our Culture

At Lutheran, we align mission and careers, values and workplace. We honor each other's dignity, encourage joy, demand safety, and take pride in our integrity. We celebrate milestones and acknowledge the value of spirituality in healing. We believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible. We are proud of what we know, which includes how much there is to learn, and we laugh at each other's jokes (even the bad ones).

Location & Community

Lutheran Hospital is conveniently located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, in close proximity to I-70. The area offers wonderful parks, open spaces, and trails for year-round outdoor recreation, including biking, bird-viewing, boating, fishing, and hiking. This location welcomes patients from all over the Denver Metro area and offers a vibrant environment for your days off.

Hiring Process

We use the artificial intelligence platform, HiredScore, to improve your job application experience. HiredScore helps match your skills and experiences to the best jobs for you. While this tool assists in reviewing applications, all final decisions are made by Intermountain personnel to ensure fairness. We protect your privacy and follow strict data protection rules; your information is safe and used only for recruitment.

Equal Opportunity

Intermountain Health is an equal opportunity employer. Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
