Lutheran Hospital has served the Wheat Ridge and surrounding communities for over 100 years. Evolving from a tuberculosis sanitarium into a top-tier facility, we opened a brand-new hospital in 2024 to provide greater access to life-saving emergency services. As part of Intermountain Health, a faith-based, nonprofit organization, we are proud to hold Magnet designation for nursing excellence and serve as a Heart and Neurovascular Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Level II Trauma Center.
Our Operating Room features 9 surgical suites, including a heart room and cystoscopy room, with specialties ranging from Orthopedics and Cardiac to Neuro and Plastics. We are currently building a new Neurosurgery department and seeking the first leaders to join a creative, hardworking, and close-knit team of neurosurgeons and OR professionals.
As a Neurosurgery Operating Room Registered Nurse Program Coordinator, you will bring your body, mind, heart, and spirit to your work. This role exists to ensure the delivery of safe, appropriate patient care by supervising hospital activities and coordinating between patient care areas and other departments for a specific shift.
You will be a leader in a high-pressure environment, staying organized and moving fast while responding calmly to critical situations. Your day will involve supervising and mentoring staff, acting as a clinical resource, and participating in performance improvement activities. You will help create a culture of commitment to patient-focused service, innovation, and integrity, partnering with physician leaders to manage staff, projects, and budgets. While you will perform RN duties as needed, your primary focus is on fostering a supportive environment where individuals become part of something greater.
Located in close proximity to I-70, Lutheran Hospital is minutes away from the outdoor recreation opportunities that make Wheat Ridge a wonderful place to live. Enjoy free, year-round access to parks, open spaces, and trails for biking, bird-viewing, boating, fishing, and hiking.
We believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible. Together, we align mission and careers, honor each other's dignity, and encourage joy. We celebrate milestones, acknowledge the value of spirituality in healing, and maintain a workplace where we laugh at each other's jokes and high-five for success. We are proud of what we know and remain eager to learn more.
We hire people, not resumes, but we expect excellence. If you are ready to reaffirm your love for this work and join a team that values your unique contributions, we hope you will apply. At Intermountain Health, we use the HiredScore AI platform to help match your skills to the best jobs, though all final decisions are made by our personnel to ensure fairness. Your information is safe and used only for recruitment.
