About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Patient Care Services Team, you will be responsible for the satisfactory completion of nursing care for a group of patients and their families. This role requires the application of independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members, including ancillary and support services. The position encompasses leadership, partnership, teaching, and supervision. You will establish collaborative relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers, delegate and evaluate patient care activities, monitor patient progress, and prepare patients for discharge. The RN reports directly to senior unit management and participates in shared decision-making activities.
