About the Role
As a Registered Nurse on the Night Shift, you will be the backbone of patient care during the 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM window, working a 72-hour bi-weekly schedule. This role exists to deliver comprehensive nursing care that addresses the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients, families, and friends.
In this position, you will develop nursing diagnoses and care objectives, coordinating closely with physicians and the broader healthcare team to ensure seamless treatment. Your day involves reviewing prescriptions, examining patients, and documenting conditions to adapt care plans as needs evolve. Beyond clinical duties, you will serve as an educator, teaching patients and families about medications, self-care skills, and their conditions. You will also maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection-control protocols, managing equipment, and ensuring supplies are stocked and ready.
