The Role: Registered Nurse in the Operating Room

As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room (OR), you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary surgical team. This role exists to deliver high-quality, holistic nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will work directly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Your day will involve developing comprehensive nursing diagnoses and care plans, coordinating with the broader healthcare team, and providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families. You will be responsible for reviewing physician prescriptions, educating patients on self-care and medications, and maintaining a safe, secure environment by adhering to strict infection-control policies and safety standards.
