The Role: Registered Nurse in the Operating Room

In this role, you will be an integral part of the surgical team, providing high-quality, hands-on care before, during, and after procedures. You will partner with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive nursing care, ensuring physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support for patients, families, and friends. Your day will involve developing nursing diagnoses and care plans, educating patients on self-care and medications, and evaluating outcomes to adapt care strategies as needed. You will also maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection-control policies, managing equipment, and ensuring supplies are ready for surgical needs.
