About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Avera, you will be the cornerstone of patient care, delivering a holistic approach that addresses physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs. You will partner with physicians and the broader healthcare team to develop comprehensive nursing diagnoses and care plans tailored to each patient's unique condition.

Your day will involve reviewing physician prescriptions, examining patients, and documenting their physical and psychological status. You will serve as a vital educator, guiding patients and their families through medications, self-care skills, and recovery processes. Beyond direct care, you will ensure a safe environment by adhering to strict infection-control policies, managing medical supplies, and maintaining equipment. This role requires active participation in a team that coordinates workflow to ensure a productive and efficient care setting.
