About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg department at Newark Wayne Hospital, you are the engine and heart of patient care. You make a positive difference every single day in the lives of our patients, their family members, and visitors. Your role involves going above and beyond to meet their needs with courtesy, kindness, respect, and compassion.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing critical thinking and decisive judgment to provide physical, educational, and emotional support. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with physicians to promote and restore patient health, performing treatment procedures and supervising assigned team members. A key part of your day involves developing and documenting individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs while maintaining effective communication regarding health status and treatment progress.
Schedule & Location
This is a full-time position (36 hours per week) located in Newark, NY. The schedule features a mix of Day/Evening shifts (7am-7pm) and Evening/Night shifts (7pm-7am), with rotating weekends and holidays.
