About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at the GSS MN Jackson Center, you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. Your role involves collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. You will practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
In this position, you may serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe and reliable administration of care. You will coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide education, and perform various nursing interventions across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
Work Environment & Schedule
This is a PRN position with a minimum requirement of 30 hours per month, including one weekend shift per month. The role involves travel to support multiple locations within a 150-mile radius of your permanent address, with mileage reimbursement provided for required travel. Shifts vary, with premium pay rates available for weekend and evening/night shifts.

Requirements
- verified3 months experience in Long Term Care required
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- verifiedGraduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- verifiedCurrently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
Nice to Have
3 months experience in Long Term Care (6 months preferred). Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing.
