Centerpoint - Paris, formerly Bourbon Community Hospital, is a 58-bed acute care facility located in the heart of the Bluegrass. As part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network spanning 29 states, our mission is to make communities healthier through a continuum of care including acute, rehabilitation, and behavioral health services.

Our 9-bed Emergency Room team operates 24/7, staffed by emergency physicians, nurses, and support personnel trained to provide critical care when it is needed most. Our team uniquely integrates with our Behavioral Health unit to offer comprehensive crisis evaluations for patients experiencing suicidal ideation, detoxification needs, and bipolar disorders, ensuring a holistic approach to patient well-being.

About the Role

As an Emergency Services Registered Nurse (RN), you will join a vital mission dedicated to making a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve. In this full-time, day-shift role (Monday–Wednesday, 6p–6a), you will be the backbone of our emergency response, combining advanced clinical training with compassionate service.

Your day will involve performing plan of care interventions, administering medications, collecting specimens, and delivering clinical treatments. You will monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families, while assisting patients with activities of daily living. A key part of your contribution involves collaborating across disciplines to coordinate transfers, discharges, and referrals, as well as advocating for the physical and emotional well-being of every patient. You will also evaluate learning needs to provide appropriate education based on age, culture, and condition, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Hiring Process & Application

To apply, please submit your current state RN license and proof of a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. We are looking for candidates with Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification and prefer those with one year of Emergency Room RN experience, as well as ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care certifications.
