Centerpoint - Paris, formerly Bourbon Community Hospital, is a 58-bed acute care facility located in the heart of the Bluegrass. Our 9-bed Emergency Room team operates 24/7, staffed by emergency physicians, nurses, and support personnel trained to deliver critical care when it is needed most. Our team combines advanced training with compassionate service and works closely with our Behavioral Health unit to provide comprehensive crisis evaluations for patients experiencing suicidal ideation, detoxification needs, and bipolar disorders.
About the Role
As an Emergency Services Clinical Coordinator (RN), you will embrace a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. In this role, you will serve as a resource to staff and external contacts regarding clinical standards, policies, and procedures while ensuring the department maintains compliance with accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission requirements.
You will play a key part in the daily rhythm of the ER by coordinating staff scheduling, educational activities, and performance evaluations. Your day will involve identifying and resolving issues that affect clinical service delivery and patient flow, performing quality assurance studies, and assisting with the implementation of quality improvement initiatives. While you will focus on leadership and operational excellence, you will also provide direct patient care as needed in accordance with the scope and standards of practice, working flexible shifts including potential on-call assignments.
