About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) - Float, you will embrace a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. This role is designed for a compassionate professional ready to make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve. You will provide direct patient care to critically ill adult patients across a variety of departments, including ER, ICU, Med Surg, IMC, and Women's Services.
In this position, you will coordinate total nursing care, acting as a patient advocate and working collaboratively with ancillary and non-nursing departments. Your day will involve managing ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and Vapotherms, as well as titrating and maintaining critical drips for ICU patients. You will monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families, while also assisting patients with activities of daily living. A key part of your contribution involves evaluating learning needs and providing education to patients and families appropriate to their age, culture, and condition.
